Juniper Run Paddling Trail Temporarily Closed for Major Upgrades
Ocala National Forest, FL – Starting January 6, 2025, the renowned Juniper Run paddling trail will be temporarily closed for up to two weeks as work begins on a significant upgrade to its boardwalk launch. This closure is part of an effort to enhance visitor experiences and improve access to one of the forest’s most beloved attractions.
Improvements on the Horizon
The closure will allow for the complete rebuilding of the boardwalk launch, ensuring it meets the needs of paddlers while maintaining safety and sustainability. The upgrades are part of a larger initiative to improve recreation facilities throughout the Ocala National Forest.
“Juniper Run is one of our most treasured natural spaces,” said a representative from Naventure. “We’re committed to ensuring it remains accessible and enjoyable for years to come.”
